Did you know that the famous Big Ben is not actually the name of the entire tower? The name ‘Big Ben’ actually refers to the large bell in the Elizabeth Tower – not the tower itself. The tower was renamed in 2012 in honor of Queen Elizabeth II and has officially borne the name “Elizabeth Tower” ever since. 5. Hard Rock Cafe London – A piece of music history
The very first Hard Rock Cafe in the world opened right here in London in 1971.
